MDL Chime Pro for Web is a browser plug-in that renders 2D and 3D molecules directly within a Web page. The molecules are "live," meaning they are not just static pictures, but chemical structures that scientists can rotate, reformat, and save in various file formats for use in modeling or database applications. When used with MDL's Chemscape Server or MDL Direct, Chime Pro also lets scientists perform molecular and spectral structure searches in several industry-standard formats across the wide range of databases accessible through corporate intranets and the Internet.

MDL Chime Pro for Java is a JavaBean component that enables developers to provide chemical structure rendering and visualization in pure Java applications and Applets as well as in Web pages. The JavaBean version lets developers build custom applications integrating different types of data including chemical structures, reactions, 3D models, assay data, inventory data, and excerpts from the chemical literature.
